Errol Martyn Posted 30 July , 2021 Share Posted 30 July , 2021 Many years ago on a visit to the PRO I noted down the name of J. E. Histed mentioned in AIR1/164/15/142/9 (Officers - records of service, personnel particulars, etc) 1915 - 1918. I did not take down the details at the time but now find that I'd like them, having since confirmed that Histed was a New Zealander. I'm wondering if any one on the forum might have copied this AIR1 file and be able to tell me what it says about Histed re the dates mentioned. Cheers, Errol

Errol Martyn Posted 30 July , 2021 Author Share Posted 30 July , 2021 (edited) Thanks Jon, but as noted in my subject heading I'm seeking what the specific dated items in the AIR1 file have to say about Histed. I already have a good deal of info about him, including that from the sources you mention. It's the two AIR1 that I am missing.
