Discussion of the book and an interview with the author here. This comes recommended by a friend of mine who is a retired professor of the School of Oriental and African Studies.

SJ,

I have just read this book and can highly reccomend it. There is a lot on the Indian Labour Corps, of course, but there is also interesting information on the Indian Jail Labour and Porter Corps.

Regards,

Alf McM
