Minty_ Posted 7 July , 2021 Share Posted 7 July , 2021 Does anyone have a view as to why a soldier should be discharged under (what looks like) Paragraph 392 (iii) (b) of King's Regulations? The soldier was 10331 Pte. Edwin James Adams (my great uncle) of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He volunteered on the 7th September 1914 and was discharged on the 17th of February 1915. In civillian life he was a chauffeur for a director of the Siddeley Deasy motor company. I have a photo of him in chauffeur's clothes, from circa 1917 wearing a Royal Warwickshire Regiment badge on his lapel. I don't think he was conscripted after he was discharged. Minty_ Posted 8 July , 2021 Author Share Posted 8 July , 2021 Thank you for your reply Jonbem, He appears to have been discharged whilst posted to Weston Super Mare. There are no other clues on his service record.
