Private Joseph Standing Buffalo a Sioux Dakota from Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, son of Grand Chief Julius Standing Buffalo, and Alma, of Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, grandson of Chief Sitting Bull. Buffalo enlisted in the Canadian Forces during the Great War and killed-in-action on 29 September 1918 near Arras, Pas-de-Calais.

Another J Standing Buffalo 2413310 Died of wounds serving with The Manitoba Regiment.

Hello,   I have a booklet on Buffalo  Bills visit to Wolverhampton with his Wild West Show, Not sure if there is a connection but can copy it if required.

@Markr Buffalo Bills also a National Football League team, once coached by Marv Levy who coached the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League.

 

Yes, Wild Bill and Sitting Bull once in a side show together.
