GJW Posted 1 June , 2021 Share Posted 1 June , 2021 Hi everybody, Just wondering about the above and if they did where can I find them? Many Thanks, Gerard
museumtom Posted 1 June , 2021 Share Posted 1 June , 2021 You will find that almost all units had a book on the history of the unit. They are spread all over the internet, the majority of them free to download. The first place to start is the Gutenberg Project. If there is any particular State your are looking in to let us know. https://www.gutenberg.org/
GJW Posted 2 June , 2021 Author Share Posted 2 June , 2021 Thanks Tom. I am not sure the US 60th Regiment of Engineers would make a great topic for a book The man I am looking up joined up in Cook County, Chicago. I will check out your suggestion though. JOVE23 Posted 2 June , 2021 Share Posted 2 June , 2021 Your best bet is to ask our National Archives. I have received snippets of daily reports from them in the past, though it may take a little while for them to get to your request.
