SeaJane,

Good morning, I feel as if your task as similar to painting the Forth Road Bridge, once you think you have finished you have to start again. 🙈.

On a positive note it genuinely will be “ the “ document to go to first when trying to reference certain books/ documents on Medicine and Healthcare in WW1.

Hi Jane

Just spotted this on sale at the Great War Bookshop which I didn't see on your list.

Ten Lectures On Field Sanitation

Moss-Blundell C.B.

Published by Gale and Polden, Aldershot, 1919

Described as "an uncommon training manual written for officers of the Royal Army Medical Corps" and including "many diagrams of latrines, incinerators, disinfectors, kitchens, etc."

Also this:

Manual Of Military Hygiene

Published by War Office/HMSO, 1914

Thank you Martin, they are noted for addition.

Someone else alerted me to some missing hospital material and, following a play around with different search keywords, I find myself with another half a dozen pages to add.

Onwards!

Thanks for the compliments!

Always up for new titles >gulp<

When I can see distinct coverage of both male and female I've duplicated the entry so it appears in both sections - there don't seem to be very many, but I may have missed a few. Perhaps I should flag the duplicates - always willing to copy more over if asked.

It is there, Bob; I think the author of that one was Kate Luard (can't check at the moment). If so, it will be in the second section under her name.

Ctrl+F = Find should be able to search electronically as a substitute for Mk.I eyeball. If not, let me know and I will work something out.

Thanks for the other two titles - I will add them!
