Has anybody ever heard of this chap before? Lt.Col. Sir Charles J.H.Thomas KCB. KCMG. I've had this metal box since the 1970s.

Plenty of entries in the London Gazette as Charles John Howell Thomas and as C J H Thomas

With a distinct Welsh theme

Thank you for answering this time old question of mine. When I searched I couldn't find this chap. I have had this metal box since I was 8 years old when we moved house and I found it in the loft. As a child I kept various important things in it, including my match box toy cars and action men.
