Does anyone have any phoptos of the camp where German prisoners were held in WW1.

I have been told it was in Leicester. Maybe an old army camp.

The only location IN Leicester that is listed in Graham Mark's Prisoners of War in British Hands during WWI is Number 5, Northern General Hospital. There were German PoWs at various hospitals in the UK; I assume they did very basic work as orderlies, kitchen workers, maintenance staff...)  My geographical knowledge of Leicestershire is very limited, so I can't tell from Mark's very long list whether there were other camps nearby. These would have been very small work camps. His map of the major camps shows Kegworth, 15 miles from Leicester, and Donington Hall, 17 miles away.
