identification ??? is this the war medal ribbon colour ?

good to day  all would anyone be able to identify this medal, its  WW1 by the George V head on the medal but the ribbon colours cannot trace any help most appreciated

It looks like a British War Medal, Are there any details impressed around the rim of the medal? You may need a magnifying glass to read them.

It’s not uncommon for medal ribbon colours to fade particularly if they aren’t the original silk ribbons. If  the reverse side is as Chesterboys then it’s the British War Medal

presumably there is no blue left on the inside of the ribbon? as its inside could be hidden from sunlight

This medal looks very toned (tarnished) by exposure to air, sunlight, etc for many yrs, so it makes sense that the ribbon has also faded considerably, try turning the ribbon inside out, colors might be better .
