A veteran subsequently identified the people in the photo, and gives the unidentified officer a Lieutenant Wilkins or Watkins. At this stage we're unsure which it is, but the archivist is trying to find out. If you drop me an email address I can send you the full list of names. We need to know what was the appointment of Wilkins/Watkins. Was he the RTO and the OP’s forebear an equestrian expert on attachment, or was he the QM? Tonyb Posted 10 May , 2021 Author Share Posted 10 May , 2021 Burtt was in 1/15 Londons. He was attached to 1/14 in 1917. Somewhere I have the LG ref for the attachment and the rtu in Dec 1918. Also in 1918 he was att to Bde as Bde transport Offr. I have paper on that also somewhere! Tony
