More medical help please

Can anyone give me an idea of the medical ailment this soldier had.

It is from a burnt record as you can see, and there is no other mention of it anywhere else in his papers.

Looks like the beginning of hypertrophic.

Often a word that precedes 'Cardiomyopathy ' or similar.

Hypertrophic means  something is enlarged. An enlarged heart was a common finding in this era.

 

The next line reads something like 'Dis to ...'

Any SWB or Pension record?

Also note that 24 GH in Etaples has a number of specialists, one being a cardiac one... have read that somewhere in the war diaries of the hospital.
