mutley Posted 25 April , 2021 Share Posted 25 April , 2021 Good afternoon pals, I am currently conducting some research for a friend and have struggled to find the Bn War Diaries on Ancestry. Is anyone able to tell me the detail of the action which took place on the 26th October 1917, when my man was KIA. From what I have managed to ascertain he enlisted in Walsall in 1914 and deployed to France on 3rd May 1915. He won a MM during the period 17th July to 4th August 1917. On the day in which he was killed there are 122 casualties shown on the CWGC website. Many thanks in advance Mutley
