Martin Lepley Posted 17 April , 2021 Share Posted 17 April , 2021 In the pension Record below I have a Royal Engineer in the 79th Coy. In the Date and cause of death we have a word that looks like "mining" to me but I was not aware of this Company carrying out such activities. Any ideas? This was Battle of St Quentin, Known by various names, and basically the German Offensive. Image : Fold3 via Western Front Association subscription.
