Cannot find any trace, usual sites searched, of this soldier, report in the Rochdale Observer 15 9 1915 states he died of wounds in the Dardanelles 23 8 1915, leaving a wife and three children. Can anyone shed more light on this casualty ? please . Thanks Ralph.

Could it be this man here

Looks as though you have found him. The newspaper article spells the name as THRELFALL but states that he was 40 years of age - matches the man you have found. It doesn't state his initials or given names.

The 1911 Census shows him living near Oldham with a wife and three daughters, also shows that he was born in Congleton -- these facts match up with the newspaper article.

If you are interested, Find My Past have his service records for his first 'stint' in the army having enlisted at age 17 years and 10 months.

Thanks for that, we have "found" his other two children via Ancestry census returns. Cheers Ralph
