Can you identify the regiment from this photograph please?

I'd like to know which regiment one of my ancestors belonged too.  It's a long shot as the cap badge is not very clear but any suggestions are appreciated.  Thank you.

Michelle’s bang on the money as per usual.  Definitely East Lancashire Regiment.  He looks very young and gangly so the photo seems likely to have been taken not long after enlistment (reinforced by the fact he doesn’t yet carry a swagger stick).

Thanks everyone, although I don't know his name - as yet, I know he was part of my family that came from Blackburn, Lancashire and is one of my Great Uncles.   I have several Great Uncles who served in the first world war and hopefully, in time, I will be able to piece together their stories.
