Location of Scottish Trench

Hello everyone,

 

I am am trying to find the location of Scottish Trench at Le Sars but I cannot seem to find the location, I was wondering if anyone would be able to assist me.

"Rats Alley" provides references for two different locations for a "Scottish Trench"

 

Map Sheet: 57cSW3 (Longueval), Map Reference: S 30 a, c, d

 

Map Sheet: 36cNW1 (La Bassee), Map Reference: A 9 a, b.

Further to the above, if you do a Forum search for "Scottish Trench", there are plenty of hits - it may be in one of those for you.

This is a some distance from Le Sars, being between Trones Wood and Guillemont.  The one at La Bassee is even further away.  However, there is a Scotland Support in the vicinity of and slightly to the NW of Le Sars in M. 15.b and M. 16.a.
