Andrew Upton Posted 5 April , 2021 Share Posted 5 April , 2021 (edited) As Jay says, he's a Canadian WW1 era soldier - he wears the post-1913 Canadian version of the SD jacket with it's distinctive 7-button front, plus the belt (and one pouch) of the Canadian 1916 Pattern "Oliver" equipment: Canadian Pattern Seven Button Jacket (kaisersbunker.com) Edited 5 April , 2021 by Andrew Upton

FROGSMILE Posted 5 April , 2021 Share Posted 5 April , 2021 (edited) The shape of his badge looks a little like the 128th Infantry Battalion of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Edited 5 April , 2021 by FROGSMILE
CorporalPunishment Posted 5 April , 2021 Share Posted 5 April , 2021 I'm inclined to think the cap badge is that of one of the Garrison Regiments. Pete.

It's a similar sort of shape Pete, that's for sure, but the badge on the soldier doesn't look so perfectly circular as the garrison units, and the voiding on the left side of his badge seems larger don't you think? CorporalPunishment Posted 5 April , 2021 Share Posted 5 April , 2021 It looks round enough to me Frogsmile, I think the variations in the voiding are just reflections off the badge. Pete.
