Admin RussT Posted 10 March , 2021 Admin Share Posted 10 March , 2021 Any chance you could post a snip of the record (or give a link to the record) so we can see how it is written and the context within which it is written Regards Russ
ss002d6252 Posted 10 March , 2021 Share Posted 10 March , 2021 As RussT says a link or a picture would be great. If it's a 3 letter code followed by some numbers though it will be a Pension Issue Office code used for admin purposes. Craig

Stu71 Posted 11 March , 2021 Author Share Posted 11 March , 2021 I was wondering if, if Fit for NWE was suppose to read Fit For NWF [North West Frontier]. With thanks to Ancestry.

Stu, This is more like a Service Record page than a pension record. = Please can you let us know his name & other military details - or at least his unit. I'm noting RAMC several times on your extract, but?? Could it alternatively be "NWC"? Context could be very important. More info on the soldier would probably help, possibly quite a lot. :-) M Edited 14 March , 2021 by Matlock1418
