On the evening of 23 October 1918, German night bombers attacked the aerodrome at Vavrincourt.

 

I would be most grateful for any details on the raiders.

 

Though aircraft came up after them (presumably Breuget 14s of the US 9th Aero Squadron), no victories were claimed. A theatrical performance at Vavrincourt aerodrome was delayed by the raid.
