Ghent during the Great War

I stumbled across this website, produced by the Ghent Museum, whilst researching Emilie Schatteman (shot for treason). Some wonderful photographs one of which shows, I believe, a field being toiled by hand by hundreds of people searching for coal. But many quality and interesting photographs there.
