I have a Boer war-WW1 group to Albert Buckler who was Royal Irish Fusiliers in both wars, and Royal Irish regt later
I have come across an index card which has his name and Boer war service number, but have no idea what it means.
see his MiC and the queried card below.

does this mean something ?

the handwriting on the front of this card looks like : R / Lg 2 / WYR and some other initials
on the back of this card, at the bottom, is the notation : (6976) W.2413/5528:25m (5) 2/29 C&S Ltd 186 ..... J.2829

any ideas what it means ?
