of0213 Posted 23 November , 2020 Share Posted 23 November , 2020 Can any give more information on 200336 Anthony Hadley? He survived the war so no mention on CWGC website. I have checked the medal index cards, sadly it does not give the Btn he was part of. Any information would be greatly received. Thank you!

Mark1959 Posted 23 November , 2020 Share Posted 23 November , 2020 It should be noted that he also go the Terrotorial Force War Medal as well as the WW1 standard pair. Sadly no surviving service papers
travers61 Posted 23 November , 2020 Share Posted 23 November , 2020 No 200336 was the 336th number in the block of numbers allocated to the 5th East Surreys in the Territorial Force renumbering of early 1917. Often the numbers were allocated by length of time in the battalion, with 200001 being the longest serving still with 5th Bn, although this was not as I understand a universal policy across the whole TF. http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/soldiers/a-soldiers-life-1914-1918/renumbering-of-the-territorial-force-in-1917/renumbering-the-tf-infantry-in-1917/
