snailybailey Posted 21 November , 2020 Share Posted 21 November , 2020 Hi, I have purchased a set of medals (and plaque) to a casualty and there is an additional Victory medal with the group. It's the same surname and I suspect it is to his Father. Amongst the ephemera with the group is this envelope (pic attached) and I am wondering if it would have belonged with the casualties medals or the other individual? It says it is 'for a soldier on demobilisation, transfer to the reserve or discharge' none of which would apply to the casualty. Any clues? regards Glyn
johntanner Posted 21 November , 2020 Share Posted 21 November , 2020 It does what is says on the tin: document envelope on demobilisation, so will not relate to the casualty.
