I have to admit to having never used the site but I believe this may be what you seek here - Volksbund

The Volksbund site won‘t help you very much - if at all. It is very different to the CWGC site.
 

Your best bet is to post the details of the soldier here.

Hi sorry it’s 96th Regt Walter Brockmann killed sept 1917

No, it's Fahnenjunker Unteroffizier Walter Broßmann from Gera, who was KIA on 13.09.1917 near Monchy.

He is buried in Férin Block 3 Grab 50.

IR 96 was in the line near Boiry. There isn‘t a Walter Brockmann that was killed with IR 96 in the regimental roll of honour nor in the casualty lists.
