War Memorial on North Uist

Good day,

This is my first post here but I am looking for information about a great uncle, Donald Mac or McDonald = DOB - 05
Feb, 1890.  There is a Donald McDonald from Knockline on the North Uist War Memorial.  His father (John) and family were from Cnoc a' Lin,  North Uist, however Donald was born in Glasgow.  I haven
't been able to find a death certificate for "my" Donald - partially I think because the name is so common.  Family lore is that he survived the war, came home but was shell shocked.  Is there more information about the men on the memorial.

Thank you, Dixie
