Well done to Blackburn Museum for preserving and displaying this important record. I'm working on several projects in Rawtenstall area, adjacent to Darwen, and one of them is a similar memorial from Ilex Mill in Rawtenstall. No such happy ending here as this memorial with 11 names is "whereabouts not known". Regards ian PM to follow on another Darwen related matter.
