Sandbatch War Memorial - Cheshire


Kitchener's Bugle

This fine memorial is located on High Street, of the lovely village of Sandbach in Cheshire.

It is an elaborate octagonal stone monument inscribed with the names of those of Sandbach who fell in the first and second world wars.

 

The monument is Grade II Listed.

Thanks for a most comprehensive post.

Can I suggest you correct the typo in the title otherwise it might prove difficult to locate the thread in future?

Excellent photographs Mr Bugle, thanks for posting. I shall put Sandbach on my list of local places to visit if we ever get out of this Covid mess.
