Ancre1917 Posted 26 October , 2020 Share Posted 26 October , 2020 In memory of 1990 Pte Daniel Rhead 1st battalion Northumberland Fusiliers missing presumed dead 26 October 1914 at Neuve Chapelle. Born on 15 August 1885 in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. He enlisted in Burslem in 1906 and was recalled to the Colours at the outbreak of war arriving with the BEF on 8 October.
