i have a scroll with the above name on it as adjatent and organising officer dated october 1914 can any one give me some info on it ..was he organizing them for ww1

I’ve read up a bit in this  but is the national reserve the chaps who became the 2/3 rd London rifles

You can read about The London Regiment here: http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/army/regiments-and-corps/the-british-infantry-regiments-of-1914-1918/london-regiment/. I believe that he was in the 1st (City of London) Battalion, The London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) in 1914. As Adjutant, he was responsible to the commanding officer for unit administration and what we call human resources nowadays (personnel matters). So when the battalion was mobilising, he would have been a key facilitator.
