Looks like touristen piece, should be oiled and gently cleaned, maybe You will find some stamps there.

Almost certainly not a WW1 issue Kukri.  The Mk.I (produced until 1915) and the Mk.II (produced from 1915 onwards) were b-i-g beasts. The Kukri in the image below is WW1 period or earlier, not official British issue, but broadly the correct shape and dimensions for a Mk.I/II.
