Remembered Today:

Casualty list - can't make out what his injury is?

This is from a casualty list for a hospital, the end column is the injury or medical condition.  Any idea what John Jaggs's is?  Can't make out what it's suppose to be at all!

In 2005, there was a really excellent thread by Promenade which gave all of the numeric wound classifications:  http://greatwarforum.org/topic/32925.

That suggests that the Roman III means John Jaggs had been shot in the neck and the number 1 that it was a simple flesh wound.  The SL might imply 'slight', to me?
