Remembered Today:

silver war badge

Good morning- in researching a soldier who was discharged in October 1917 I am unable to find any evidence of a silver war badge. Thomas Arthur Salter  had served in The Post Office Rifles ( 1388)  then The Labour Corps ( 342620).

Are you able to throw any light on this situation please?

thank you

He's under Thomas Salter, no middle name recorded, Silver Badge no. 345379. 675 Coy ex 8th Imp. Ser. Bn.

Both his service numbers are recorded.

From Ancestry
