Hello Can any member with an interest in The Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire L.I., Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial

help with a photograph of Pier and Face 10 A and 10 D. with the name of William Wilde 23850 5th Oxs & Bucks L.I., KIA 24 August 1916 

Also any information regarding Battalions part in the action in which he died on that day

Any help will be much appriciated

Born 1886 in Broseley, Salop

Enlisted at Ironbridge

24 Aug 1916 Killed in action age 30

Former 5323 Pte, 14th Div Army Cyclist Corps; France & Flanders, 19 May 1915; transfd. to 5th Bn, C Coy; F & F, 21 May 1916; M: 1915 Star, War & Vict; no known grave - Thiepval Mem, Somme, France, Pier & Face, 10A & 10D.

Husband of Edith Mary Wilde of The Poplars, Hill Top, Madeley, Salop.
