I'm trying to put some family life behind Pte William Osborne #17677 from this notice in the Liverpool Echo.

I guessing his his dad was either living with his sister (or sister-in-law) ?

The census records are not picking him up as b.1893 Liverpool.

Thanks

Dave

Pension Card has his aunt [1st Dept], Ellen Smith, living at 5 Dudley Road, Wavertree, Liverpool and father [2nd Dept] at 125 Roxburgh St, Walton, Liverpool

Pension Ledger record(s) have his father living at 125 Roxburgh St, Walton, Liverpool

Further address of 74 Hawthorne Rd, Bootle [apparently for aunt]

Further address of 25 Brickfield Rd. North, Liverpool [for whom seems unspecified]

Thanks Matlock, any signs of William on the 1901/11 census for a mother and his occupation ?

This one on familysearch has some good signs

Deaths Mar 1920

SMITH Elizabeth 73 Liverpool

Matches up with 1914 Gores, so at least I've got her age now
