R.I.P.  031601 Ernest George Leather.

One of the original Wirral Pals from September 1914. It has been a very long wait for him but well worth it.

Any idea as to where he is buried Billy?

No, I'm afraid not. He was born in Warrington, lived in Bebington, and died at Conwy. I was unable to find a burial record in Bebington or Conwy, and Warrington couldn't help me.

I don't know if you have everything that I sent in to support his claim to be commemorated by CWG, if you haven't then I will happily pass it on to you.

You appear to have covered the options I would have covered. I did check the newspapers for any funeral notice, but came up with nothing.

Cheers
