BillyH Posted 2 July , 2020 Share Posted 2 July , 2020 R.I.P. 031601 Ernest George Leather. One of the original Wirral Pals from September 1914. It has been a very long wait for him but well worth it. BillyH.

BillyH Posted 6 July , 2020 Share Posted 6 July , 2020 No, I'm afraid not. He was born in Warrington, lived in Bebington, and died at Conwy. I was unable to find a burial record in Bebington or Conwy, and Warrington couldn't help me. I don't know if you have everything that I sent in to support his claim to be commemorated by CWG, if you haven't then I will happily pass it on to you. BillyH. chrisharley9 Posted 7 July , 2020 Share Posted 7 July , 2020 You appear to have covered the options I would have covered. I did check the newspapers for any funeral notice, but came up with nothing. Cheers Chris
