Thatww1pigeon Posted 20 June , 2020 Share Posted 20 June , 2020 Hi everyone. I am thinking of buying this stalhelm, but I don’t know if it’s from ww1 or not. I could tell the liner and the strap is repro, so it’s just the helmet I need help on. Forgive me, I am not too well versed in helmets. But, just a simple confirmation helps, thanks! ANZAC_Andy Posted 20 June , 2020 Share Posted 20 June , 2020 Looks like 100% reproduction to me. Stay away, mate. Sorry!

Thatww1pigeon Posted 20 June , 2020 Author Share Posted 20 June , 2020 Just so I know down the road, what the different between a repro m-16 and a real m-16?

I am afraid you will need more than an answer on this page to learn that info. Google them, buy a book, go to fairs, look at reputable dealers sites and take your time. Plus do a search here. Some good threads.
Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 20 June , 2020 Share Posted 20 June , 2020 A good rule of thumb is if it looks brand spanking new, it's probably brand spanking new.
Thatww1pigeon Posted 21 June , 2020 Author Share Posted 21 June , 2020 Thank you for all your opinions. I have decided not to go for it. I should more know before making a move. Thanks
