sdparker Posted 11 June , 2020 Share Posted 11 June , 2020 Watched A House Through Time yesterday on BBC i player, and was surprised when it then showed 3 episodes of a WW1 series immediately after- streaming 10 seconds later! The Series is titled Our World War, and is based on the audio recollections of three veterans of The Great War. Programme 1 featured the 3 Vc holders at the canal bridges at Mons, and the first contact of the war. Programme 2 featured The Manchester Pals battle in Trones Wood in 1916. Programme 3 featured a tank crew during the battle of Amiens. Very authentic from the attention to detail, and very watchable IMHO, although others may disagree. does anyone know when this was made, has it been shown before, and are the more episodes? MikeyH Posted 11 June , 2020 Share Posted 11 June , 2020 I think just the three, seem to recall they were originally shown around 2014. Mike.
