kildaremark Posted 5 June , 2020 Share Posted 5 June , 2020 Unfortunately not for ORs but they are for Officers. Both sides of cards available on ancestry. Mark
Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 5 June , 2020 Share Posted 5 June , 2020 Not really relevant, but if the reverse of a card is blank, it's not necessarily the blank reverse of that card that's displayed by Ancestry. It's one of several types of generic blank reproduced to save repeat scanning. You can see the same blanks over and over, they have identical blemishes on them. If the reverse has an address or other identifying feature, then that clearly is the genuine reverse.

Good spot Dai, I had never noticed that, but I have often wondered why so many images have the reverse side badly crooked. Your idea would explain why. BillyH. Maybe they scanned one from each run date to correlate with the original. I don't know.
Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 6 June , 2020 Share Posted 6 June , 2020 (edited) Billy, If you open this MIC, zoom in tight on the back, below the word 'Correspondence', you'll see two prominent Black dots below the 'C'. If you then browse the cards with the Ancestry forward and back arrows, you'll see that the backs of all the cards in this group are identical.
