I am interested in finding out what HMS Vindex was doing in the Med during the latter stages of the war as my father was an ERA aboard her at that time.Any links would be greately appreciated

Welcome to the GWF.

Her log books are at Kew under ADM 53; the twelve 1918 monthly logs are on this link -

https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/results/r?_ep=vindex&_cr=adm 53&_dss=range&_sd=1918&_ed=1918&_ro=any&_st=adv

VINDEX was in the Med from June 1918.

These logs have not been transcribed or digitised so you will either have to visit Kew or order copies (post-Covid)
