Dazscuba Posted 3 June , 2020 Share Posted 3 June , 2020 Hi usually you can find other regiments that soldiers have served in in things like Medal Index Cards, Medals issued, Service records, pensions and pension ledgers. Private 50670 Thomas Frederick Alfred Grace, West Yorks Reg who was killed in Action 31/8/18 has on his “ soldiers who died in the Great War” that he was in the RFA and his service number was 183900. i cannot find anything to support this on Ancestry and would like some help if possible from the experts on here. ajsmith Posted 3 June , 2020 Share Posted 3 June , 2020 His service record on Ancestry shows a brief period in the RFA apparently all at home. So it doesn't appear on his MIC.
