Admin kenf48 Posted 31 May , 2020 Admin Share Posted 31 May , 2020 Welcome to the forum I see Alf managed to negotiate the mystery while I was changing the title of your post. 8 minutes ago, Ron O said: Can anybody give me information regarding the British Red Cross & St Johns medal awarded to S T Reeves in the 1st ( campaigns etc ?) It is helpful if seeking information you post what you already now and are explicit as to the information you are seeking Ken
ForeignGong Posted 31 May , 2020 Share Posted 31 May , 2020 I would take the Croix de Guerre to be French with the Verdun connection. This is not gazetted as far as I can see. BRC & SJ had an agreement with the War Office to be able to accept and wear foreign awards / decorations without going through the usual channels and gazetting. I have added him to my database. His MIC states France 15.2.15 so entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio. Chauffeur. Peter
