I've seen this image on wikipedia (french page) It's wroten : Munitions disponibles en 1939, i can translate : Ammunitions availables in 1939, i'll do the 3D, but if it's possible i prefer ww1 images, to make something like the 2 images and created a ww1 scene. (i think the shells are putted in differents categories)

And create a scene with 3D object.

Yves,

Welcome to GWF.  You have an interesting project.  You might try contacting Cornell Publications in the U.S.A:

https://www.cornellpubs.com/old-guns/manual-reprints/

They specialize in reprinting old catalogues, etc. including some service manuals.  I don't know exactly what is available and you will have to make enquiries.  However, I did buy from them "Explanatory List of Service Markings" from 1918 and that has a few illustrations of cartridge boxes, shell markings, etc. and they may, of course, have a more comprehensive manual as far as cartridge/shell boxes are concerned.  I attach a photo from the publication in case it is of interest.

Regards,

Michael.

Yves,

Well, on my copy the cover only is in colour and the rest in black and white. Also, there are not many illustrations of ammunition boxes.  Before buying I would go through what else they have on the subject.

I'm making some test to see the result of a shell depot.

Watching in the forum to find panels in a shell depot (may be panel to find specific shell of caution panel, or something like that).

Here a quick exemple. With more colors and advices about shell used to prepare battle, and more big shell, it will be better.

But an image is better than 1000 words.
