Just came across this young lady, Rosamond Josephine Pennell....in The Courier, June 21st, 1918.

Also her wedding in 1923, must be quite rare...a Military Cross holder marrying a Military Medallist.

Really interesting to see all the details.

Wedding photograph from ANCESTRY Family Tree.

Details on Passenger Lists show the couple travelled extensively. Four sons are included on the Family Tree details.

Also on Ancestry there is a reference for a Death Notice in The Times for Rosamund who died 11 July 1986.

Roy died 18 September 1968.

She is recorded, with details of the award and her life, in Norman Gooding's 'Honours and Awards to Women: The Military Medal'.
