StevieT Posted 24 May , 2020 Share Posted 24 May , 2020 We are trying to work out when our grandfather who was in KOYLI 6th Battalion, was taken back from the front we believe with trench foot / and or / trench fever. We believe this was at the time of, or just after Passchendaele. Are there records of ambulance trains or hospitals or hospital ships that would be worth looking through? He ended up at Southmead hospital, Bristol. Any help greatly appreciated.
TEW Posted 24 May , 2020 Share Posted 24 May , 2020 There is a small sample of such records, only about 5% of the original. Have to say the chances are slim but you never know. His name and number? Do you have access to find my past? TEW
