dbridge276 Posted 21 May , 2020 Share Posted 21 May , 2020 (edited) In case people are not aware, the National Archives are currently allowing Free Downloads of any Digital Archives. As i am searching for mentions of my Grandfather and his award of the Military Medal (See thread Albert Edward Bridge ) it has enabled me to download many more than i would have done at £3.50 each in order to read through Headquarters diaries, 7th CFA Diaries, Canadian Cavalry brigades (to whom he was attached with the 7th CFA) etc etc There are some limits (see National Archives fair use policy) , 10 items per order and a total of 50 per 30 days, but this is reasonable for most needs. http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ Edited 21 May , 2020 by dbridge276
