mark holden Posted 16 May , 2020 Share Posted 16 May , 2020 Owain, According to Information in Chris Pollendine’s Campaign 1915 the Smoke Helmet was introduced in June 1915 the P type Tube Helmet and satchel was sealed on 17 Sept 1915. I am sure I have seen contemporary illustrations of the Battle of Loos showing the later type being worn.
