Pandemic 1918 - New series BBC Radio 4

A new 3 part documentary series 'Pandemic 1918' starts tomorrow (Friday 15th May '20)  at 11:00 on BBC Radio 4:

As the coronavirus affects the whole world, leading virologist Professor John Oxford presents a three part series on the origin, spread and reaction to the Pandemic that devastated much of the planet just over 100 years ago

Without wishing to belittle the consequences of the current one, I suspect this series might make many previously unaware of the Spanish Flu pandemic realise that comparatively, we could - hopefully it will stay that way - be in a far worse position today. It will be interesting to hear an experts view, although doubtless there will be other experts who will totally disagree.
