Remembered Today:

Lieutenant Edward Gladwin Arnold, RFA (MiD)

I'm hoping that someone might be able to come up with a photo of this chap, who was Kia 21/03/1918 at Battle of St Quentin. I have a photo of his brother, Second Lieutenant Alban Charles Philias Arnold, Royal Fusiliers who was Kia 07/07/1916 at Ovillers-la-Boisselle, although this one is not great. So I suppose I'm after a photo of each please!

Thanks!

Hello

Had a look on ancestry for the family tree, they don't have a picture of him, just his two brothers

The BNA has a small notice in the Chester Chronicle paper dated Saturday 28 September 1918... no picture

Thanks for searching. I've noted the tree on Ancestry.

Hello, I think you have something here. I knew that his brother Alban was a criketer, but not Arnold.

Yes, on second thoughts this is Edwin George, not Gladwin

You'll have tried Haileybury College and their school magazine?

No, I haven't tried this line of enquiry. I'll pencil it in for when things get back to some sort of normality.
