Good Afternoon,my Gradad Joseph Victor Smith service number 36222 served in the 1-4 York and Lancaster. Looking at his records on 16/9/1918 it states in the remarks n.a.d.(gas) and E.D.6913 can anyone tell me what these comments mean please.Cheers

Welcome to the forum. Can you just clarify nad , which to a medical person means no abnormalities detected. Could it be NYd not yet diagnosed.
