J Marshall Posted 8 May , 2020 Author Share Posted 8 May , 2020 Many thanks for you post. After passing his Aviators Certificate understand that he was seconded to the RFC/RAF serving with 37 and 61 Squadrons. He took part in an HD operation with 61 Squadron on 19/20 May 1918 (Cole and Cheesman). His RAF Service Record at TNA unfortunately shows nothing before 1920, so are struggling to find details of his Great War RFC/RAF service. J Marshall Posted 10 May , 2020 Author Share Posted 10 May , 2020 Thank you Graeme. His 23 Sqn service is very good to know about. Will help to narrow down his period on HD. Joe
